beautiful boy.

beautiful boy by John Lennon has long been one of my favorite songs. when i was pregnant, frankie was sweet enough to even set up a slide-show of my ultrasound pix for me that had that song in the background. we played it at one of my showers and i listened to that song on my way to the hospital to deliver (along with another favorite- "danny's song" by anne murray...which i guess is a little cheesy, but reminds me of when i was a kid & the words are so sweet). well, i couldn't believe i was now my very own beautiful boy. he was finally in my arms. here are some pix from the hospital (our beautiful boy's first few days of life):


first hair-do. yes, even being in newport beach, the nurses thought i was nuts bringing baby hair product...said they've never seen another mommie like me (HA!)...but, you do what you have to, right!?

ava was able to join us for a very special celebration dinner...and she had some special big sissy gifts to open when she got there (wearing her sparkly "big sister" shirt and all)!


mommy's need gifts too...and my own mommie surprised me with this beautiful kimono style robe as a "push present"...perfect for breast-feeding and feeling a little "special" while laying in a hospital bed. she took the pic below of trey & i on his 2nd day of life. she says it reminds her of a 'Klimit' painting (the artist that did 'the kiss', etc). To me, it is just love. Trey love.
