Missing Link.

frankie & i always thought it was odd that we were both born on the 4th. i was born on July 4th and he was born on august 4th. then, we had our baby girl in 1999 and her birth date was october 4th. to make things even more strange, we realized that date is 10-4...which is the way frankie's dad used to say "bye" to frankie. for example, if they were on the phone, instead of saying "talk to you later" or something like that, he would say "10-4 over & out". we always joked that we needed to have a baby on september 4th. this pregnancy i knew that wasn't going to happen because i was due March 27th. but, when i went beyond my due date this time we thought for sure we were going to have our baby on April 4th (4/4). That would make it 4 of us in our little family as well. obviously, that didn't happen. but he did arrive on April 9th (4/9)...if you flip those numbers it is the missing link: Leila = 7/4 Frankie = 8/4
Baby Trey = 9/4 (really 4/9)
Ava = 10/4

just some other silly "4 facts"...

i have my favorite orchid sitting next to our kitchen window. it usually has 3 blooms on it...this year an extra bud came out and it bloomed right before my due date...making 4 beautiful flowers. my mom also had one of her orchids produce 4 separate blooms this year.










anyone who really knows me, knows how much i love a little champagne from time to time. there are these little bottles that i have given as gifts for bachelorette parties, xmas, etc. Well, elishia brought 2 of the little blue bottles to the hospital as a gift. We didn't end up drinking them but i took some pix when i got home and when i uploaded them onto the computer, i noticed they say 1/4 on the label. Which is just kinda' funny.
